 YOUR JOURNAL

How do hardships teach us lessons in faith? What do you think you are learning right now?

MEDITATION

We can count on God to always want the best for us. When we believed in His Son Jesus as our Savior, we were washed clean of our sins, and we are now in His family. He is working for our good. This is not to say bad things won’t happen. Afterall, we still live in a sinful, broken world where unexpected, hurtful things happen all the time. Yet, I think we learn important lessons through hardships, especially how we can count on the Holy Spirit, to give us wisdom, guidance and strength every day. God’s love and goodness for you and me is happening now and in the future. God is faithful!

PRAYER

Lord, when I am tempted to give up and think there is no rhyme or reason to life, help me have faith that in all things You are working for my good. May my love and appreciation for You keep growing. I pray this in Jesus’ name. Amen.
