We are delighted to welcome Veronica Badowski as a regular contributor to our Faith in Caregiving series! Veronica’s inspiring reflections illuminate the profound role faith plays in the caregiving journey, offering encouragement, comfort, and hope to caregivers navigating their path with love and dedication.
Her heartfelt writings invite us to lean into the strength and blessings that faith provides, reminding us that we are never alone in this journey. Through her words, Veronica helps us see how faith can be a cornerstone of resilience and joy amidst the challenges of caregiving. As we reflect on these beautiful scriptures:
Proverbs 10:6 NLT
“The godly are showered with blessings…”
Ephesians 1:3-6 NLT
“All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ. Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes. God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure. So we praise God for the glorious grace he has poured out on us who belong to his dear Son.”
YOUR JOURNAL
What changes for the better are you seeing in yourself because you belong to Jesus?
MEDITATION
We belong to Jesus, so this means we are in His family and His Spirit lives in us. It also means we are becoming more and more like Jesus in thought, word and deed. We have every blessing for a life of victory and purpose, loving God first and loving others as we love ourselves.
PRAYER
Lord Jesus, I praise You for Your great love and faithfulness. You make it possible for me to a member of Your family. Please grant me wisdom and positive thoughts for the day ahead. Thank you for the many blessings I need so I can lovingly do the work You have given me. In Your name I pray. Amen.
