Caregiver stress relief tips are strategies every single family senior caregiver. If you are a caregiver/care partner it is important that you take care of yourself too.

Many caregivers neglect their own health and needs to continue to provide care for their aging family member. As an administrator of Senior Caregivers forum on FB, I struggle everyday on helping senior caregivers . There are many times when I feel helpless to help someone that makes poor decisions out of guilt.

Caregiver guilt is a very strong  emotion that negates all the good you have done. Guilt is the cause for so much unnecessary stress. This stress is because a caregiver makes a conscious decision to put the aging seniors needs before their own. All humans have needs. Ignoring these needs causes anxiety, resentment and even anger. Many caregivers become depressed.

I wrote this book, Caregiver Relief- A Stress management Guide  because over the past year, in the senior caregiver forum, we lost three young caregivers. I knew that the future of each of these caregivers was a severe medical crisis or death.  I knew, because I had experienced this before. When I tell you that caregiver stress kills, it really does. I have had several caregivers in the previous years die before their aging family member.
